This role combines routine data collection and documentation (which are increasingly automatable) with tasks requiring technical troubleshooting, real-time analysis, and stakeholder communication. While AI and automation can augment many technical aspects, the need for contextual judgment, hands-on equipment work, and direct communication with aviation personnel keeps full automation risk moderate. GenAI tools can assist with reporting and data analysis, raising the AI exposure score.
