This role has a moderate automation risk due to several routine tasks (e.g., payment processing, ID checks, inventory) that can be automated or augmented by technology. However, key elements such as customer interaction, conflict resolution, and real-time service require human presence and social intelligence, limiting full automation. GenAI and digital tools can assist with order taking, training, and standard drink preparation, increasing AI occupational exposure.
