Job Description
Automation Risk
This role contains a high proportion of augmented tasks—data modeling, reporting, and forecasting are increasingly supported by AI and BI tools, but require expert human oversight and interpretation. Leadership, stakeholder engagement, and coaching are core human tasks that resist automation, keeping overall automation risk moderate. However, the technical and analytical aspects are highly exposed to AI augmentation, resulting in a high AI Occupational Exposure score.
Task analysis
- Produce and own Group-wide metric definitions and key management information across all business units.
- Partner with senior leadership to deliver automated, accurate and actionable business intelligence.
- Drive the evolution of Group data architecture, improving data quality and system integrations.
- Design and maintain profitability models, pricing analysis and strategic scenario planning.
- Forecast and model potential future business and financial scenarios across multiple stressed conditions.
- Lead the Business Intelligence department, ensuring alignment with Group OKRs and successful delivery.
- Coach BI analysts and define development standards including naming conventions and modelling approaches.
- Manage team workload, sprint planning and prioritisation to deliver on competing business demands.
- Produce revenue driver analysis, new business distribution metrics and detailed costing models.
- Review core systems data availability and recommend improvements to support enhanced reporting.
