Job Description
Automation Risk
This role features a mix of routine (record-keeping, invoicing), augmented (compliance, onboarding), and human (client liaison, bespoke advice) tasks. Many core administrative and compliance functions are increasingly supported or replaced by specialized software and RegTech solutions, raising both automation and AI exposure. However, complex client interactions and nuanced regulatory interpretation still require experienced human judgment.
Task analysis
- Administer a portfolio of asset-owning and VAT-registered companies, ensuring ongoing compliance with company law and VAT regulations.
- Assist with company incorporations, dissolutions, liquidations, and annual returns.
- Maintain statutory company records and prepare board minutes.
- Support onboarding of new business, including regulatory reporting such as Beneficial Ownership and Economic Substance declarations.
- Liaise with clients, banks, government bodies, and professional advisors to coordinate company administration matters.
- Open and maintain bank accounts, and assist with invoicing and payments for client companies.
- Ensure all work complies with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to ad hoc client queries and provide guidance on company administration matters.
