Job Description
Automation Risk
This role contains a high proportion of routine and structured tasks (e.g., data entry, document management, basic reporting) that are highly susceptible to automation via RPA, workflow tools, and AI. However, tasks involving coordination, communication, and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders require human judgment and interpersonal skills, moderating the overall automation risk. GenAI tools can augment many reporting, data, and correspondence tasks, resulting in high AI exposure.
Task analysis
- Prepare, update, and maintain trade documentation, including purchase and sales contracts.
- Assist Traders in managing physical trade operations and contract administration.
- Coordinate communication between Traders and internal support functions (Operations, Finance, Logistics).
- Track shipment schedules and key contract milestones.
- Ensure timely entry of contract data, amendments, and shipment information into internal systems.
- Assist with customer onboarding, account updates, and documentation requirements.
- Support resolution of operational queries and discrepancies.
- Assist with basic market data collection, trend monitoring, and report preparation.
- Maintain spreadsheets and simple analytical tools used for commercial decision-making.
- Liaise professionally with suppliers and customers.
