Job Description
Automation Risk
Many core tasks, such as report preparation, technical research, and compliance documentation, are increasingly supported by advanced AI and automation tools, raising AI exposure. However, significant elements require professional judgment, cross-team communication, and nuanced stakeholder management, which resist full automation. Routine data gathering and report population are at high risk, but the role’s complexity and regulatory context keep overall automation risk moderate.
Task analysis
- Prepare IFRS and AIM compliant statutory accounts for the Group.
- Assist with year-end audit and mid-year interims, acting as key contact with auditors.
- Prepare annual report and investor presentations.
- Research and document IFRS technical accounting issues and update internal policies.
- Interact with finance teams across the Group to ensure accurate disclosures.
- Produce reports for external customers such as shareholders and analysts.
- Bank covenant reporting to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation; drive improvements to financial processes and internal controls.
- Support tax planning matters such as updating transfer pricing frameworks as guided by advisors.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
