Job Description
Automation Risk
This role includes a mix of routine (record-keeping, workflow management) and augmented (document review, customer communication) tasks, with some human-centric responsibilities (complex case resolution, mentoring). While many administrative and compliance processes are increasingly automated or AI-augmented, judgment, regulatory interpretation, and interpersonal tasks remain less susceptible to full automation.
Task analysis
- Review and quality-check new business documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with AML/KYC requirements.
- Ensure new business applications are processed in line with internal guidelines and procedures.
- Contact Financial Advisers and Customers to request outstanding information or clarify application details.
- Resolve complex or escalated cases requiring judgment and interpretation of regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, application statuses, and compliance checks.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding documentation to ensure timely completion of new business cases.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members regarding AML/KYC processes and documentation standards.
- Liaise with compliance and risk teams to resolve regulatory queries related to new business applications.
