While some routine legal research, drafting, and compliance monitoring tasks can be augmented by AI, the core responsibilities—advocacy, negotiation, and providing nuanced legal advice—require expert judgment, interpersonal skills, and local knowledge. This results in a low overall automation risk, but a moderate AI exposure score due to the increasing support AI tools can provide in research and drafting.
