This role involves a high proportion of tasks requiring advanced legal judgment, interpersonal skills, and bespoke client advice, which are resistant to automation. However, several tasks (document drafting, compliance monitoring, legal research) can be meaningfully augmented by AI and legal technology, raising the overall AI exposure. Routine compliance reporting is increasingly automated, but core responsibilities remain human-centric.
