Financial Accountant

Our client seeks an experienced and highly numerate Financial Accountant to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Monthly management accounts production. Monthly financial reports. Monthly intercompany reconciliation and preparation of consolidation journals. Preparing journals for interests, accruals and prepayments, with supporting documentation for month end reporting. VAT monthly returns. Interface with finance teams in Hong Kong, China and Italy for accurate consolidation. Ensure all adjustments and provisions affecting working capital items are accurately maintained. Controlling general ledger journal entries, maintaining finance data integrity. Purchase ledger management - review for anomalies and credit balances. Auditor interface. Input into annual statutory accounts preparation. Project support and analysis as required, ad-hoc reports. Key Skills & Experience: ACA or ACCA qualified with 3 years PQE, preferably with industry experience. A degree in Accountancy or a similar business-related subject. Experience using SAP is required. Strong commercial acumen also a distinct advantage. Highly literate in Excel. Good level of competency across the full Microsoft Office Suite package. Good knowledge of MRP systems. Coaching experience with excellent communication and influencing skills. Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills. Able to communicate confidently and coherently to key stake-holders, many of whom will not be members of the Finance team, therefore, will need to be able to put key concepts into 'layman's terms' Adapt at problem solving, coupled with the ability to hit the ground running.
