Job Description
Automation Risk
This QA Engineer role contains a mix of routine (test documentation, defect tracking), augmented (automated testing, code review), and human-centric (collaboration, process improvement) tasks. Many core activities can be assisted or partially automated by AI and modern DevOps tools, but critical thinking, team interaction, and quality strategy still require human expertise. The role is highly exposed to AI augmentation, but full automation is limited by the need for judgment and cross-functional communication.
Task analysis
- Design and implement automated test suites for the eWallet platform to ensure high reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define quality standards and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze test results and identify, document, and track software defects.
- Review and validate code changes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports.
- Monitor system performance and reliability in production and staging environments.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to ensure quality is embedded in the development lifecycle.
- Research and recommend new tools or practices to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
