Job Description
Automation Risk
This role contains a mix of routine and augmented tasks, such as data reconciliation, reporting, and mailbox monitoring, which are increasingly automatable with RPA and AI tools. However, tasks involving process improvement, team coaching, and cross-departmental collaboration require human judgment and interpersonal skills, limiting full automation. High exposure to AI augmentation is present, especially in data-heavy and reporting activities.
Task analysis
- Conduct regular accounts reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Investigate reconciliation differences and process corrective entries accurately.
- Assist with development and implementation of new reconciliation procedures, ensuring effective project management.
- Monitor and analyze PSP Settlements, including daily review of emails and updating records.
- Archive data copies for audit purposes and as evidence of financial figures.
- Collaborate with Finance Team to resolve discrepancies and queries.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on reconciliation activities to management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the reconciliation process.
- Monitor mailboxes for queries and promptly address account-related issues.
- Coach and support other members of the Finance Team.
