Independent Non-Executive Director - Our client seeks an Independent Non-Executive Director & Chair of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee to join their team. Role Profile: The Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) provides independent oversight, strategic guidance, and constructive challenge to the executive leadership of the group, while remaining removed from day-to-day operations. As Chair of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, the INED leads the Board’s oversight of financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance across a multi-jurisdictional financial services group. INEDs are expected to contribute creatively to Board discussions and take decisions objectively in the interests of the Company. All directors must take decisions objectively in the interests of the Company. Key Skills & Experience: Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA).(Essential) Financial Services: Experience in managing in a regulated market financial services company, including lending and compliance. Audit & Financial Oversight: Have up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting (IFRS), audit processes, and internal controls. Risk Management: Proven experience in identifying and managing strategic, operational, and regulatory risks. Governance & Regulation: Familiarity with AIM Rules, UK and Isle of Man regulations, and governance codes. Commercial Acumen: Strong business instincts and strategic insight. Integrity & Independence: Ethical conduct, sound judgment, and commitment to the group’s interests. Leadership: Ability to lead committee discussions and drive effective oversight.
