Job Description
Automation Risk
This role is characterized by a high proportion of human-centric and judgment-based tasks, such as board leadership, strategic oversight, and ethical decision-making, which are resistant to automation. While AI and RegTech can augment certain analytical and compliance monitoring aspects, the core responsibilities require independence, trust, and nuanced expertise, resulting in low automation risk but moderate AI exposure for support tasks.

- Chair the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, leading reviews of financial reporting, internal controls, and risk management.
- Review and approve financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards.

- Advise on and ensure adherence to multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements (AIM, UK, Isle of Man).
- Contribute creatively to Board strategy discussions and decision-making.
- Lead objective decision-making in the interests of the company and its stakeholders.
- Oversee and challenge executive management on operational, financial, and compliance matters.
- Stay current with evolving governance codes and regulatory expectations.
