Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Gardener to maintain and enhance the health, appearance, and biodiversity of our gardens and green spaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks involving the planting, cultivation, maintenance, and design of plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs. Key Responsibilities: Perform general gardening duties including planting, pruning, weeding, watering, and mulching. Maintain lawns, flower beds, trees, and shrubbery to ensure health and aesthetic appeal. Monitor plant health and apply pest and disease control measures as necessary. Operate and maintain garden tools and machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers). Assist with the planning and installation of new garden features and landscape designs. Compost organic waste and contribute to sustainability initiatives. Keep detailed records of plant care and treatments, where applicable. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Requirements: Must hold a full, clean driving licence. Proven experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture. Knowledge of local plant species, soil types, and horticultural practices. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and garden machinery. Attention to detail and a passion for nature and plant care.
