Job Description
Automation Risk
This role features a mix of augmented and human-centric tasks: while reporting, procurement analytics, and compliance monitoring can be significantly assisted by AI and automation tools, core responsibilities such as staff management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision-making require human judgment and interpersonal skills. As a result, the role has moderate automation risk but high exposure to AI augmentation, especially for data-driven and process-oriented functions.
Task analysis
- Oversee and coordinate all project management office (PMO) activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize supplier relationships and cost efficiency.
- Direct and supervise procurement processes, including tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
- Monitor and report on project and procurement KPIs to senior management, identifying risks and recommending improvements.
- Manage and mentor PMO and procurement staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and oversee budgets for projects and procurement activities, ensuring adherence to financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and industry standards in all procurement and project activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO and procurement functions.
