Job Description
Automation Risk
Many HR Assistant tasks are routine or semi-structured, such as data entry, document management, and scheduling, making them highly susceptible to automation via HRIS, RPA, and AI tools. However, tasks involving confidential employee support and nuanced communication still require human judgment and empathy, limiting full automation. The overall exposure to AI augmentation is high due to the heavy use of HR systems and document workflows.
Task analysis
- Coordinate recruitment administration including scheduling interviews, responding to candidate queries, and maintaining applicant records.
- Draft employment contracts and process onboarding documentation for new hires.
- Maintain and update HR systems with employee lifecycle changes (starters, leavers, contractual changes).
- Administer benefits, healthcare updates, and manage work permits/visas.
- Record and report employee absences, prepare absence management reports.
- Support training, engagement initiatives, and academy recruitment logistics.
- Ensure GDPR-compliant record keeping and assist with HR audits.
- Arrange travel logistics for employees within the South Atlantic region.
