While some routine tasks in inventory, compliance, and record-keeping can be automated or augmented with digital tools, the core of the Pastry Chef role—creative menu development, hands-on preparation, and team leadership—remains resistant to full automation. AI can assist with recipe ideas and process optimization, but human expertise, creativity, and real-time collaboration are essential.
