Job Description
Automation Risk
While some routine tasks like inventory management and record-keeping are increasingly automated, the role of Sous Chef relies heavily on human skills such as leadership, creativity, and real-time problem-solving. Many tasks are augmented by technology, but the need for culinary expertise and interpersonal management keeps overall automation risk moderate. GenAI and digital tools can assist with planning and compliance, but cannot fully substitute for the hands-on and creative aspects of the role.
