Job Description
Automation Risk
This role contains a mix of routine and augmented tasks, such as system monitoring and documentation, which are increasingly supported by AI and automation tools. However, critical tasks like incident resolution, stakeholder management, and regulatory interpretation require human judgment, domain expertise, and interpersonal skills, limiting full automation. The role is highly exposed to AI augmentation, especially for monitoring, documentation, and compliance tracking.
Task analysis
- Monitor core banking system and connected platforms for operational performance, stability, and security.
- Triage and resolve operational incidents, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Translate business requirements into operational and technical specifications.
- Lead UAT/QA testing for new features and ensure readiness for deployment.
- Develop operational processes, procedures, and training materials for BAU handover.
- Manage relationships with core system providers and third-party partners.
- Coordinate release cycles, maintenance windows, and system upgrades.
- Monitor regulatory and industry changes (e.g., ISO20022, payment scheme updates) and ensure compliance.
- Represent the bank at industry groups and forums.
