Job Description
Automation Risk
This role features a mix of routine (automation of backups, monitoring) and augmented tasks (design, installation, documentation), with critical human tasks in stakeholder engagement and advanced troubleshooting. While many operational aspects are exposed to automation and AI augmentation, the need for creative solution design and high-level problem-solving keeps full automation risk moderate.
Task analysis
- Architect and design cloud infrastructure solutions integrating virtualisation, storage, and networking platforms.
- Install and configure hardware and software for cloud services across multiple platforms (VMware, Nutanix, HPE, KVM, Azure).
- Automate routine operational tasks such as backups, monitoring, and failover for disaster recovery.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize network and system performance, identifying and resolving issues.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud infrastructure.
