Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Cloud Services. Role Profile: You will be responsible for architecting, installing and operating hardware and software technologies hosting cloud services. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the cloud suite comprising IaaS, disaster recovery, backup, network, security and associated services across virtualisation platforms and cloud stacks (including VMware, Nutanix AHV, HPE VME, KVM-based platforms or equivalent) and Azure Hub. Within an evolving technology and cloud services market place, the successful candidate will often investigate, design, deploy and automate new technologies, providing for current and future needs. Working closely with customers to design and deliver complex, enterprise level infrastructures that integrate and leverage solutions. You will be involved in the full life-cycle, from initial engagement, solution design to ongoing third line support. Experience in a senior infrastructure engineering role with responsibility for virtualisation platforms (such as VMware, Nutanix AHV, HPE VME, KVM-based platforms or equivalent), storage and networking is required. Relevant certifications and experience across major virtualisation platforms are highly desirable.
