Job Description

We require proactive and reliable people to join us within our Residential Services. We have positions for Support Workers to work nights. We have over 9 different houses located both in Central and Northern parts of the Island where they are located within easy reach of local bus routes. You will be joining a friendly, established team that provides quality support to autistic adults. As a Support Worker Working Night, you can enjoy an interesting and varied role. You will be supporting autistic people to live as independently as possible, promote health and well-being and support them to maintain their home. For our waking night roles, the people who live here may require your support throughout the night and to have someone there who they have built a trusting rapport with will make a positive difference. You will be committed to learning about their needs, and be able to offer friendly reassurance and flexible support. This is truly a rewarding role, with the opportunity for you to develop your skills, knowledge and fulfil your career aspirations. While some routine documentation and monitoring tasks can be automated or augmented by digital tools, the core of this role involves direct, empathetic support and real-time response to residents’ needs, which are not easily automated. AI can assist with reporting and communication, but the need for human presence, trust, and judgment keeps overall automation risk low to medium.
