Job Description
Automation Risk
This role is highly routine, with most core cleaning tasks amenable to automation via robotics or outsourcing. However, some elements—such as shift coordination, real-time problem-solving, and responding to unexpected situations—still require human presence and judgment. AI tools can augment reporting and scheduling, but physical presence and adaptability remain important.
Task analysis
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Service, clean, or supply restrooms.
- Gather and empty trash from designated areas.
- Monitor building security and safety by locking doors and checking appliances.
- Notify management of the need for major repairs or maintenance.
