Key Responsibilities: AI Integration Lead: You will manage the prompt engineering and API connections between Google Gemini and our CMS. You will be responsible for refining outputs to match our "Gold Standard" house style (neutral, data-led, and authoritative). WordPress Management: You will own the technical health of our news platform. This includes managing plugins, schema markup, theme troubleshooting, and ensuring the site architecture supports high-volume publishing without speed loss. Editorial Quality Control: Using your media background, you will act as the "Human in the Loop." You will verify facts, adjust tone, and ensure all content meets the standards of a legitimate news outlet before it goes live. Social Media & Distribution: You will oversee the distribution strategy, ensuring content is correctly formatted for LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Facebook to drive engagement and user commentary. The "Must-Have" Experience: WordPress Mastery (4+ Years): You are not just a user; you are a power user. You understand custom post types, block editors, SEO plugins (RankMath/Yoast), and how to troubleshoot conflicts. Media & Journalism Background: You have professional experience in a newsroom or digital media publisher. You understand the importance of headlines, the "inverted pyramid" structure, and the difference between an advert and an editorial review. AI & LLM Expertise: You have 2+ years of experience working with Advanced LLMs (GPT-4, Claude), with specific recent expertise in Google Gemini. You understand prompt engineering and how to prevent AI "hallucinations.". Automation: Familiarity with tools like Zapier to streamline workflows between content creation and social distribution.
